Η28χρονη Kassidy Caitlin Riekens κατάφερε να χάσει 46 κιλά, κόβοντας το αλκοόλ, το κάπνισμα και τα ξενύχτια με τις φίλες της.
Η Kassidy συνήθιζε να βγαίνει με τις φίλες της για ποτό τουλάχιστον τέσσερις φορές την εβδομάδα και υπέφερε συχνά από hangover. Έφτασε να ζυγίζει 118 κιλά και δεν ένιωθε άνετα με το σώμα της, εξαιτίας όλων αυτών των καταχρήσεων.
«Σηκωνόμουν με δυσκολία από το κρεβάτι. Ήξερα ότι έπρεπε να χάσω βάρος. Αισθανόμουν συνέχεια κουρασμένη και δεν είχα καθόλου ενέργεια» λέει η ίδια.
Οι διατροφικές της συνήθειες ήταν εντελώς ανθυγιεινές. Δεν έκανε γυμναστική, κάπνιζε πολύ και ο ύπνος της ήταν άστατος.
Σήμερα, ζυγίζει 72 κιλά και νιώθει πιο καλά από ποτέ. Περπατάει μισή ώρα κάθε μέρα και πηγαίνει στο γυμναστήριο. Προετοιμάζει τα γεύματά της από την προηγούμενη και έχει κόψει εντελώς το αλκοόλ. Για τα κύρια γεύματά της συνδυάζει πρωτεΐνη με λαχανικά και πάντα έχει ένα σνακ στην τσάντα της.

You want to know how I lost weight ? Let me tell you.? • 1. Meal Prep: ? PREP YOUR FOOD. Do not trust your hungry little self to make good eating choices when you’re starving and have nothing prepped. ?I have self control like crazy and I still struggle very badly when I have to make a last minute food choice. Prep the food so when you’re hungry- you’re only set up for success. Eat things like chicken, turkey, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, turkey/chicken andouille, lean beef, lean anything. Fruits and veggies (use spray butter for taste), reduces fat cheeses and condiments. Whole wheat tortillas, bread, English muffins, pita pockets, pasta , etc. Use hot sauce , salsa, pico, or flavored mustards as your go to sauces. •Exercise: ??♀️GO TO THE GYM. A lot of people don’t want to get a gym membership because it is very intimidating (trust me, I understand!) But that is a HUGE part in making progress too. Stepping out of your comfort zone is the only thing that will bring you results. I love love love my gym and that’s a huge reason why I keep going- find yourself the right gym! They work y’all. ?? • ❤️Monday- 30 min stairs-Legs (quad focus) ?Tuesday- 30 min stairs- Biceps/Triceps ?Wednesday- 30 min stairs- Chest/Back ?Thursday- 30 min stars- Hamstring/Glutes ?Friday-30 min stairs- shoulders/abs ?Saturday/Sunday- IF I GO: Some type of circuit or HIIT. • This is what works for me & not everything works for everyone. BUT the biggest thing to do if you’re planning on starting a weight loss/fitness journey is to just do something! Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be. Just focus on one day, one meal, one exercise, and one small goal. I always say, “don’t focus on losing 100 pounds, focus on losing 10 pounds, 10x”.?

Happy Monday y’all! • First off, let’s address the cellulite in these photos. I’ve got it. I’ve struggled with it since I can remember. But one of my personal goals is to try and teach myself to accept my body for what it is and not what I want it to be. So, ?? to all the cellulite Sally’s out there! • Also. Lets talk about excuses. Excuses are the ONLY thing that stands between you and the results you want. I’m tired. I work long hours. I don’t have daycare. My body hurts. I would rather go see my friends. I’m too busy with school. I don’t like to exercise. I’m a picky eater. I’m just so hungry , I have to eat more. AND THE LIST GOES ON. • Losing weight and developing a healthy lifestyle is 100% mental. If you’re constantly waiting for your life to just magically free up, you’re going to be really disappointed. You have to look yourself in the mirror and you have to hold yourself accountable. • You are the only one shorting yourself. Nobody can make these changes for you. And at the end of the day, someone with just as many excuses as you is gonna be out there changing their life , the only difference is they didn’t let those excuses stand in the way of success. • & it’s not easy. It takes serious will power every single day, all day long. But it’s possible. You have it inside yourself.
